July 2019- TV Movie Roundup
Hallmark has Christmas in July and Lifetime is kicking off their series of more VC Andrews based movies. July is a slow time for TV movies, because everyone is outside enjoying the summer!

Love Unleashed
Premieres: July 6th, 9/8c on Hallmark Channel
Stars: Jen Lilley and Christopher Russell.
Synopsis (Via Hallmark)
While hosting a puppy party, Hailey meets single father Ryan. She helps him discover the value of adopting a dog, and teaches him that there’s more to life, especially when falling in love.
Thoughts
Trailer can be viewed here. I REALLY wish Hallmark would look up what a Puppy Party is in gay culture, because it is not what they think it is. I do like Jen Lilley, but have never heard of Christopher Russell… he is handsome tho! “Let it Breathe”

Trapped Model
Premieres: July 6th, 8/7c on Lifetime
Stars: TBA
Synopsis (Via Lifetime)
TBA
Thoughts
Based on ONLY the title, because that is what Lifetime has provided at the time of publishing this post, I’m going to “Pour it Up!” If it is anything like America’s Next Top Model, but where people get trapped. I’m here for it!

Paris Can Wait
Premieres: July 7th, 8/7c on Lifetime
Stars: TBA
Synopsis (Via Lifetime)
TBA
Thoughts
I did some research and could only find the 2017 film starring Diane Lane and Alec Baldwin, so if it is anything like that then “Pour it Up!” but since it probably won’t be, I will “Put a Cork in It.”

Stalked by My Doctor: A Sleepwalker’s Nightmare
Premieres: July 13th, 8/7c on Lifetime
Stars: TBA
Synopsis (Via Lifetime)
TBA
Thoughts
Movie is not listed on Eric Roberts IMDB page. If they don’t have the doctor, I don’t know how Lifetime can pull this off. Plus, I hate this series. “Put a Cork in it.”

Christmas Camp
Premieres: July 11thth 9/8c on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Stars: Lily Anne Harrison, Bobby Campo, Ben Gavin
Synopsis (Via Hallmark)
To get a promotion, Hayley, an advertising executive who specializes in social media, must land a toy company that is all about traditional Christmas as an account
Thoughts
Bobby Campo is hot like this July weather, but I’m not super into the trailer.(You can watch here.) Maybe I’m not into the whole Christmas in July thing. I’m going to “Let it Breathe.”

Mystery 101: Playing Dead
Premieres: July 11th 9/8c on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Stars: Jill Wagner and Kristoffer Polaha.
Synopsis (Via Hallmark)
The local theater is producing a mystery that crime fiction expert Amy unearthed. When one of the actress’ life is threatened, Amy & Travis must uncover which character is playing for keeps.
Thoughts
It has been established that these two have great chemistry. However, I have yet to see any of their movies together. Check out the trailer.(You can watch here.) I’m going to “Let it Breathe.”

The Madam of Purity Falls
Premieres: July 20th, 8/7c on Lifetime
Stars: Olivia d’Abo, Kristanna Loken, Beth Broderick
Synopsis (Via Lifetime)
After the tragic death of her husband, a mother moves her teenage son and daughter to the idyllic town of Purity Falls only to find the rift with her son deepen when he becomes entrapped in the neighborhood maven’s nefarious home business.
Thoughts
Based on this thirsty AF poster, I’m absolutely pouring it up. Then you add Aunt Zelda from OG Sabrina The Teenage Witch! “Pour it Up.”

Heaven
Premieres: July 27th, 8/7c on Lifetime
Stars: Annalise Basso, Chris McNally, Julie Benz
Synopsis (Via Lifetime)
“Heaven” introduces the infamous Casteel family, the least regarded of all the families living in the poverty-stricken foothills of the mountains of West Virginia. Yet the eldest daughter, Heaven Leigh Casteel (Annalise Basso), was still the smartest girl in the backwoods and determined to redeem her family name. However, her dreams become deferred the day her stepmother flees and her selfish father Luke (Chris William Martin) sells her and her four siblings to different families. Heaven is sent to live in the home of Luke’s deranged ex-lover, Kitty (Julie Benz), who torments Heaven as Kitty’s husband, Cal (Chris McNally) lures Heaven into a forbidden relationship while she fights to reunite her siblings.
Thoughts
I’m VERY confused by this series. Like, these books popular before I was reading Goosebumps… who asked for this?!?! You can watch the trailer for yourself here. Lifetime is planning on releasing the whole series of movies over the following 5 weeks. So, if you like V.C Andrews… “Pour it Up.” If you are like me, “Put a Cork in It.”
