As Christmas nears, a financial advisor starts seeing a recurring number: 624. She’s told it’s from a Christmas angel to make her wish come true. She calls it a statistical coincidence. But when she discovers the meaning, she finds love.
Recap/Wine Thoughts
Beth wakes up and is having a fab day. She works out on her peloton, cooks breakfast, and takes work calls (she is a financial planner), all with the help of her AI robot, Mindy! Her sister, Tess, gifts Beth a Christmas Angel ornament to help with at a local children’s theater.

The theatre’s artistic director, Nate, doesn’t think highly of Beth because he says she is a pencil pusher. Like most theatre people, Nate focuses less on the business and more on CREATIVITY! He is NOT looking forward to their meetings.

While at a Chinese dinner with her friend, Beth opens a fortune cookie with a cryptic message…
“That dream you long for can come true with some Christmas magic just for you. So make a wish for what you lack; your heart’s desire is on the back.”
On the back is the number 624. Beth reads a fortune cookie message before bed, makes her wish, and goes to sleep.

The following day, Mindy is glitching like crazy. She plays Christmas music instead of the news and sets the timer for 6 minutes and 24 seconds!?!?
At the theater, Beth and Nate’s first meeting doesn’t go well. First, she spills her coffee all over him and tries to clean it up with a wig. Then they trip over theater props left all over the floor. (The props manager is SLACKING!) Beth asks for expenses, receipts, 1090, 1092, and Invoices. Nate is like, I keep everything in a skull.
Cloey sees the numbers, too, and tells Beth it is a sign and to make that wish. She also offers to do a tarot reading. Later, Cloey says 624 is her angel number, and she will continue seeing it until her wish comes true.

After doing an audit, Beth recommends hosting more events or parties to generate revenue. Nate makes fun of her pie charts and graphs, but Beth tells him they will have to close the theatre if they don’t receive an influx of cash. Nate assures her that theatre magic will fix it.

Changing tactics, Beth brings the drama as a Christmas ghost and finally gets Nate’s attention. She praises him for the critical acclaim that his work has received and tells Nate she wants to learn more about the theater business AND raise money at the same time. Christmas is the best time to fundraise!
Beth’s big idea is a theatre garage sale. She flirts texts with Nate, and he makes fun of her ideas.

Nate takes Beth out for pizza, and they discuss how to eat pizza, and it is sexually charged. (Screenshots could not be taken, too suggestive!)
Nate quickly gets pissed off because Beth rounds up the items to sell without Nate. He feels betrayed and cancels the White Christmas Sale. Beth decides to do an email marketing campaign to raise holiday funds from people who have worked or attended the theater. When people show up, Nate changes his tune. He even makes a public speech thanking Beth for organizing.

They go Christmas Caroling with the kinds and raise $1000 from ONE HOUSE?!?!
Nate and Beth have a fireside dinner with her niece and sister. Then Nate asks Beth to join him for a surprise and dress warmly. They shovel strangers’ walkways and then have a sexy snowball fight. He calls it a random act of kindness tour. (I actually do this when it snows.)

The kid’s performance of A Christmas Carol happens, and we breeze right through that, thankfully. Backstage, Beth finds an overdue bill for $30,000 for the theatre lease. Beth tells him to take ownership, and he tells her that she only thinks about money and needs more passion. It is a stupid argument. Nate is totally wrong here. Beth quits and then makes out with him after cooing the line, “Don’t EVER tell me I don’t have passion.” (I loved that!)

Cloey takes Beth out for Christmas Eve dinner to brighten her spirits. They drink Christmas-colored drinks and open more fortune cookies. The cookie’s fortune goes unread this time, but it says “Believe.” Beth pays the check and they rush off.

When she gets home, Nate is there doing the whole Love Actually thing, but with a PowerPoint. It has spreadsheets and data, raising the money needed to keep the doors open. They make out again and share a bottle of wine. Nate’s birthday randomly comes up, and it is JUNE 24th! ANGEL NUMBER!!!
