Synopsis (via Lifetime)
After suffering a tragic accident, a ballerina finds safety, comfort, and intimacy in the arms of her physical therapist. However, she soon becomes a prisoner in her own home when she discovers he’s the one responsible for her injury.
Recap/Wine Thoughts

A ballerina does some barre work alone in the studio. During a water break, she senses someone behind her. The ballerina packs up her things and hightails out, but then the speaker blasts classical music, so she turns it off, annoyed. A hooded figure follows her through the city streets. After a long sequence, the ballerina is stabbed by the hooded figure, and it is someone she recognizes.
Back at the dance studio, we meet Rachel, Grace, Sarah, and Chloe. They are all up for a spot as the new Swan Kween. Chloe is the frontrunner, and Rachel is jealous. Instructors Daphne and Julian scrutinize the dancers’ every move down to the littlest detail.

Chloe lands the spot after Leslie is murdered, but does that mean Chloe is next? Sarah takes Chloe out for drinks, and they talk about boys. (Which is so real, TBH.) Chloe has a loser ex named Derrick who never supported her dancing career. A male dancer named Serigio also doesn’t support Chloe’s casting as the Swan Kween. (He wanted Rachel to get the role.)
On her way home to watch Weekend at Bernie’s, Chloe slips on icy stairs and is put into PT for two weeks, hoping to be better in time for the big show. Sarah encourages her friend to call the PT guy, Avery, and he schedules a home visit. Chloe lives in a three-story walk-up and is homebound for the duration of her recovery. Sarah does grocery shopping and, most importantly, provides some wine to go with Chloe’s pain pills. (I do not condone this! But it is fun.)

Avery shows up for PT, and Chloe is hungover. She is surprised he is so cute and embarrassed; she looks soooo wine-mixed with pain medication. His PT work consists of: making a yogurt snack, talking about his dead parents, and absolutely no physical therapy! (He gives her a foot rub while asking about Chloe’s relationship status. Which is inappropriate.)
While Chloe sleeps, the hooded figure breaks in and takes her picture. They are almost caught by the maintenance man, but the hooded figure chokes them to death.
Sarah stops by with more snacks and news that she is stepping in as temporary Swan Kween while Chloe recovers. Avery stops by with coffee, and Sarah is surprised to see how cute he is. Avery stopping by off the clock with movies is creepy. Rear Window, Misery, Goodfellas, and his all-time favorite movie: WEEKEND AT BERNIE’S. (Who seriously likes that movie?)

After the movie, Avery takes Chloe for a sensual shower, and I’m over here calling HR! A Mrs. Roper-looking neighbor, Edna Moskowitz, interrupts the sexy time and gets in everyone’s business. She drops up some Kugel and ruins the vibe. Edna Moskowitz is the only one with proper care instructions, telling Chloe to elevate her foot at all times and wear the doctor-prescribed boot. You know, THE BASICS!

A blonde girl is murdered with a hammer next in the apartment complex; I thought it was Sarah, but it is another blonde neighbor or something. RIP to this woman. Sarah, on the other hand, is struggling in rehearsal and might as well be dead; she is doing terribly. Chloe visits the dance studio and gives her friend a pep talk. Avery is uncomfortably possessive.
Avery is also upset when he learns that Mrs. Moskowitz is undermining his advice. He doesn’t take kindly to Derrick stopping by with flowers either. He spikes her wine to keep Chloe in her apartment and slow her recovery even more. Once she is passed out, he lies in bed with her and takes polaroids together. (Cute? No, not cute.)

When Chloe wakes up, she is surprised to find Avery in the kitchen making her breakfast. Chloe feels like she is losing her memory and suddenly thinks maybe mixing pills and wine isn’t so much fun. Then she gets a phone call from the doctor to set up another PT nurse, since Avery went missing last week. Chloe knows she is in trouble now.
Chloe kicks him in the head with her boot and rushes for help in the abandoned part of the condo building where Avery has been hiding the bodies. He also killed Derrick at some point. Avery admits that his REAL name is Sam. He has been obsessed with Chloe for years and is Sarah’s brother.

Sarah tasked her brother with keeping Chloe unwell and injured so she could take over the Swan Queen role. Sarah killed Leslie, and she pops up to stab Avery/Sam next. Chloe isn’t having any of that and kicks her former BFF down the elevator shaft.
Chloe somehow recovers to do the show, and you know what they say: the show must go on!
STRAY Thought
Chloe was giving Joan Crawford in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane here.
