Synopsis (via Hallmark)
A prince finds his way to Queens during Christmas when a local woman enlists his help with a children’s Christmas show.
Recap/Wine Thoughts
Dee Dee is a military vet back from her tour of duty, working at a New York cafe/bakery. Zoe is her boss, cousin, and a fantastic baker. Dee Dee also helps direct a kids’ choir on the side.
Also, a fan of music (and parties) is Colin, the prince of somewhere fictional in Europe. He is VERY handsome with his five o’clock shadow.
Zoe helps her chef husband, Eddie, with a work emergency at his hotel. Dee Dee offers to rush the baked good to the hotel and bumps into Colin, smashing the cake. He tries to charm Dee Dee, but she isn’t falling for his accent. He offers to do anything to repay her. She takes him up on that offer.
Dee Dee leads Colin “St. Bernard” to Queens to help her with the kid’s rehearsal since he is a good piano player. After rehearsal, Dee Dee invites the perfect stranger to her family’s home for dinner. He is charmed by her family and, of course, gets snowed in.
The prince enjoys some anonymity and participates in snowman making and snowball fights. Colin and Dee Dee grow closer together and almost kiss. They continue to work on the kid’s recital, and Dee Dee has no idea about his secret life.
That doesn’t last forever because Colin’s parents arrive with Duchess Adriana to surprise him. Colin is caught off guard and bumbles through greetings awkwardly. Dee Dee is surprised that Colin lied to her.
It is the night of the Christmas pageant, and Colin shows up for the children and plays piano. The concert isn’t half bad! The Queen and King are impressed too. Duchess Adriana is not; she is jealous of the chemistry between Colin and Dee Dee.
The king and queen encourage Colin to try to be with Duchess Adriana. He tracks down Dee Dee and tells her how he feels for her. She says they are from different worlds, and it could never work. Duchess Adriana doesn’t want an arranged marriage either, and she tells him to be with Dee Dee. It doesn’t matter because Colin gets great press for working with Dee Dee on the Christmas pageant.
Colin leaves his fancy ball and heads to Queens on a scooter for the big Christmas tree lighting to profess his love for Dee Dee. He makes it in time in a full prince outfit and tells her that she is his Christmas wish, and they kiss as snow falls.

Oh for God’s sake Hallmark what are you thinking? Let’s imagine for a moment the spawn of the folks that fed the Christians to the lions and gave us Mussolini and the mafia, Christmasing at Balmoral with Prince William.
How was DUCHESS Adriana jealous of Dee Dee when she wanted out of the arranged marriage/ wanted someone else herself anyways? And then she encouraged him to go after her? That is a little confusing.
