Recap/Wine Thoughts

A Nurse named Sharon helps a sick kid when she gets a call from an incoming car crash victim. The teenager, Cassie, asks about a boy who was on the road and caused the accident. Sharon promises the woman she will look into it. Cassie’s mother, Diane, rushes to the hospital to see her daughter and is surprised to learn everyone is okay, but the boy on the road was killed by a car full of speeding teens.

Nurse Sharon tells Cassie about the dead boy and holds Cassie and her friends responsible. She is inexplicably into the drama and very judgemental. She even body-checks Braden, Cassie’s friend driving the car, when he leaves the hospital. The teens have a wanna-be “I Know What You Did Last Summer” convo in the hospital room before deciding they are not to blame.

Months later, the court agreed. Not Guilty. Cassie feels like it is wrong to get off with a slap on the wrist and community service, but her friends just want to move on with their lives. You know is isn’t moving on with their lives, the judgmental Nurse Sharon. She follows them to court and freaks out at the ruling. VERY ANGRY! Nurse Sharon’s boyfriend died the same way.

Nurse Sharon offers Cassie’s mother her services to help rehab Cassie’s leg, which is injured in the accident. It gives her plenty of opportunity to mess with Cassie and fantasize about ruining her life. Nurse Sharon swaps Cassie’s meds out with aspirin. Then, to make Cassie look like an addict, she crushes the medication up into a smoothie.

Nurse Sharon follows Braden to a car junkyard and kills him in some elaborate car belt thing that I couldn’t even explain if I tried. The detectives arrive on the scene and rule it a suicide. Oh, and also, all his friends are there crying. Tamera, Braden’s girlfriend, thinks it is foul play.

Murder isn’t the only thing Nurse Sharon does to ruin Cassie’s life. She deletes Cassie’s homework from her laptop…

Diana is worried about her daughter becoming dependent on pills and falls for Nurse Sharon, planting pill bottles around Cassie’s room.

Tamera is too vocal about her suspicions and is the next on Nurse Sharon’s hit list. (Injected with something and stages a suicide.) Cassie and her boyfriend Scott stop by Tam’s house and almost catch Nurse Sharon in the act, but sheets away, and Tamera doesn’t make it.

THE DETECTIVE IS WILD AND BLAMES CASSIE?!??!

Cassie’s mother confronts her about the pills she found in her room and accuses Cassie of lying and being a paranoid drugie. Cassie hands over her pills and insists that someone is after her and her friends in an act of revenge.

Diane takes the pills to the doctor, and he tells her they are not narcotics; they are low-dose aspirin. The doctor is surprised to hear Nurse Sharon is working for them because she quit her job suddenly.

Scott and Cassie take matters into their own hands and try to figure out what is going on, but they are almost run over. Next, they visit the boy’s parents for answers, and the parents tell them they don’t blame them for what happened and that they are not trying to get revenge. The boy was adopted, and his birth mother is, of course, Nurse Sharon.

Cassie and Scott rush home to talk to Diane, and they are greeted by Nurse Sharon with a syringe. Nurse Sharon ties Scott and Cassie to a car to make it look like they were in a car accident. She dumps gasoline all over the car while she goes through her past and revenge plot.

Diane shows up and tries to fight Nurse Sharon off while Cassie and Scott free themselves. Cassie tells Nurse Sharon that she abandoned her son, and he felt unloved when he found out about his adoption. Nurse Sharon falls on a rusty pipe and dies. Her ghost son comes to take her away to hell or whatever.

Cassie does her community service and may get a scholarship because of it. She is still haunted by Nurse Sharon. The end!

Side Note/Stray Thoughts

This was some silly, low-budget nonsense.

    1. Expect for nurse Sharon, her performance was amazing and she is great at playing the villain as she did in another LTM in January.
