Samora Smallwood and Matt Wells star (2025).
Recap/Wine Thoughts

The movie starts at an airport during a snowstorm. Flights are delayed and travelers are stranded. Megan, her husband Jeff, and daughter Lisa all rush to a flight while we watch a guy wheeling and dealing on his cellphone. There is also a flight attendant named Jen, a teenage boy named Landon with curly hair, and another guy, eating an apple; a blonde named Nicole is also present, and all these storylines will probably interconnect soon.
The apple guy turns out to be Megan’s college boyfriend, named Brad. They make polite small talk. While they chat, Lisa runs off to be on her own, but ends up hanging with curly teen, and Jeff talks to the blonde lady. Then the flights are canceled and everyone is bused to the hotel.

At the hotel, a security officer is working rounds and is electrocuted in the pool. Lisa and the curly-haired teen decide to put on their bathing suits and meet in the hot tub. (Honestly, you should always pack a swimming suit, just in case!)
The hotel manager looks for the security guard on the hotel cameras, but can’t find him. Meanwhile, the adults hang out at the bar. Megan talks mostly with her ex, Brad, while Jeff talks to the Blonde Lady.

Megan can’t find her husband or daughter and frantically calls them. She confronts the blonde lady, who tells Megan that Jeff just walked her to her room because she felt unsafe.

Meanwhile, Lisa talks to a curly-haired teen in the hot tub, and he starts opening up about his sister’s death and going to therapy. Lisa totally misreads the vibes and goes in for a kiss. He rejects her because she is too young for him and calls her a kid. Lisa is deeply offended, but stays in the hot tub alone. It is a bad idea, because there is a killer on the loose!

Megan wanders around the hotel and runs into people in the stairwell. First, the flight attendant is making out with the hotel manager, and later it is Brad. He offers to help her look, but she doesn’t want his help. Later, Megan finds Brad dead, holding Lisa’s phone. Someone was luring her to the body. She doesn’t even care that her ex has been murdered.

They are going to need it because Lisa and Jeff are tied up in someone’s hotel room, but who’s? And WHO CARES!
Megan is placed under citizen’s arrest, but she makes a run for it to the flight attendant’s room. They come up with a plan to steal the hotel credentials from the hotel manager and find the killer. Megan reasons that whoever it is must have a grudge because she is a DA.

The blonde lady is getting revenge because her daughter had an OD or something. There is a struggle over a taser, but it is broken up by curly haired teen. He hacked into Lisa’s email and got their travel plans. They were working together, but Curly Haired Teen did most of the killing.
There is a chase that leads to the boiler room, and the Curly-Haired Teen screams after them. Megan sprays him with a fire extinguisher, and there is some funny ADR here. “AHH! IT HURTS MY EYES! OH NOOO! AHH!”

Megan and her family check into a DIFFERENT hotel and get a first flight ticket out of there! The end!
STRAY Thoughts
Oh man, this movie was pretty boring, but it was trying to be so suspenseful.

Kinda prefer the original name for this movie, Terminally Delayed… which is kinda what the action is. Already a half hour in and nothing has really happened!
The curly hair teen and the blonde lady weren’t just working together, they were mother and son
Well, she should have had curly hair too then!
