Recap/Wine Thoughts
Two teens skinny dip on a dock before finding a dead Lindsay Harley (The movie’s director) on the dock.
Cut to Slyvia, a jewelry designer. A high-profile/hot AF client named Jesse arrives to show Slyvia some diamonds. Her assistant Corey has a crush on Jesse. Little does he know Slyvia is already sleeping with him. IN THE OFFICE!
Sylvia worries that she will never get married despite designing wedding rings for a living. She wants to keep her relationship with Jesse under wraps, but someone is watching her, and anonymous calls some into her cellphone late at night.
Sylvie gets invited to a female in leadership conference. Slyvia is kidnapped the next day and taken to a secret location. A woman named Kat welcomes Sylvia to the retreat and introduces Sylvia to Elizabeth, the head of the FIL organization.
The other women in the organization are all successful, and Sylvia wastes no time making connections. And noticing that Kat has a knock-off wedding ring, copying her designs.
When Slyvia comes home, she is attacked by an intruder who steals some jewelry. Jesse spends the night comforting her.
He isn’t just spending the night with Sylvia; he also used to be married to Vanessa. He is also spending time with Becca.
A blast from the past comes back into Sylvia’s life. Her estranged father. Earl was an alcoholic and abandoned Sylvia when her mother died. The return of her father brings back traumatic memories. Sylvia finds another picture of a baby. On the back of a family photo.
Becca is murdered in the middle of the night by a home intruder. RIP!
Sylvia decides to see who this baby is/ She tries to steal a coffee cup from Earl to see if his DNA matches with anyone in some database. That isn’t the only investigating she does. She hires a security company to find the data leak for who stole her ring designs.
It turns out to be Jesse, and Sylvia confronts him. Jesse lashes out and confirms that he betrayed her trust. Sylvia and Vanessa bond over their bad relationships with Jesse and get drunk by the pool.
The following day, the girls are set to go on a boat trip for the Female Leadership Conference. Slyvia is scared to go on the boat because someone killed her mother on a boat. Vanessa walks Sylvia to the boat and helps her on. No one else has arrived, so Sylvia lays downstairs to calm her nerves.
Vanessa is attacked on the upper boat by Earl, and Sylvia is trapped in her room. She finds Jesse unconscious in the shower. Earl attacked him too.
Sylvia breaks out of the room and attempts to untie Vanessa. Then she gives up and sneaks up behind Earl, but he knocks her unconscious. Sylvia can’t understand why her dad would kidnap her. Earl admits to killing Sylvia’s real father and mother to keep the secret that he isn’t Sylvia’s father.
Sylvia grabs a harpoon and follows her father around the boat as he dumps gasoline all over the place. Vanessa live streams Earl’s confession to the conference members. Sylvia shoots her not-father before he can light the boat on fire.
Sylvia ends up dating a new guy her friend Claire introduces her to. Sylvia designs jewelry for all the female leaders! The cheers to lasting friendships and hug.

Why does the “Minority Report” exist. As a person of color we have had 100’s of years of being pointed out for our skin color. And here we are being pointed out in Lifetime movies by a white male writer. It’s gross!!!
