A young doctor’s dream job with a top cosmetic surgeon becomes a nightmare when she fears that he may secretly be murdering his patients. Stars Anthony Montgomery, Samantha Neyland Trumbo, Alisa Allapach, and Helena Mattson (2025).
Recap/Wine Thoughts

Katliyn is starting as a new resident for a prestigious Beverly Hill plastic surgeon practice led by Dr. Nichols. When she checks in with Lori, the receptionist, the former resident, Brad, is dragged out by the police. It is not a good sign.

Lori introduces Katliyn to Dr. Jacob Preston, who also works at the practice. He wins her over by completing her prominent surgeon father, who recently passed away. They see patients together, and Katliyn learns a lot. Lori used to be a resident, too; she gives Katliyn all the tea on Dr. Preston and his recent widower status.
A patient who received a nose job is attacked in the middle of the night, paralyzed with a needle, and murdered.
The next day, a detective jumps into Katliyn’s car and tells her about the murdered patient. She is one of four patients who have recently been killed. (She rightfully is like, “ummm, get out of my car.”
Cue a work montage! Yay!

Dr. Jacob and Dr Nichols have differing views on how to use the residence. Dr. Nichols accuses him of thinking with his ping rather than his head. Dr. Jacob denies playing favorites but has Katliyn scrub in on a rhinoplasty. Katliyn is a good surgeon and successfully does her first assist. They agree to go our for drinks to celebrate.
I swear, Katliyn cannot go to the parking lot to leave without something spooky happening. Brad confronts Katliyn and tries to warn Katliyn about Dr. Jacon. She isn’t hearing it.
Katliyn goes out for a celebration dinner that turns into a celebration sexy time. She is feeling herself and puts on a statement lip for her next day in the office. She floats into the office, and Buzz Kill Detective Elliott is back to question them about another dead client.

Dr. Nichols brings Katliyn in for a tummy tuck, and the patient starts to wake up. The morphine is missing from the OR, and Katliyn administers Ketamine instead. Dr. Nichols kicks Katliyn out with an expletive! (Tubi loves to cuss!) Katliyn feels discouraged that she made a bad impression.
Dr Jacob cheers Katliyn up by doing her in the locker room. He is a gentleman and probs the killer, who sends flowers afterward. (Flowers go a long way.) Later, he comes over and seems too interested in Katliyn’s father. They swap house keys, which seems a little too soon!
Brad breaks into Katliyn’s house and tries to warn her again; he is arrested and dragged out by the police. He screams about Dr. Jacob killing patients, and no one cares.

Katliyn feels unsafe and stays over at Dr. Jacob’s place; it is a very modern place with a view of the hills. She makes herself a bubble bath with champagne. (Damn, help yourself!) She finds a fancy red dress that Dr. Jacob bought for her to wear. She falls asleep in bed, and Dr. Jacobs watches her while she sleeps. They have sex again, and she asks him what he would change about her appearance. He says, The sadness in her eyes. (Eye roll) Dr. Jacob opens up about his wife, who committed suicide, and admits he blames himself. Katliyn starts to think it is weird that he doesn’t keep photos of his ex around. Katliyn searches Dr. Jacobs’ house for photo evidence.

Another patient is murdered in her car, which is somehow turned into a makeshift operating room. The detective is back and asking questions; he checks everyone’s alibi. Brad shows up and tries to warn Katliyn again. He tells her that she is in danger next as the police drag him away for a third time. This time, she takes his advice and looks into the dead patients; they all look like her. Dr. Nichols helps and Katliyn find answers. Then she sends Katilyn home early after showering her with compliments. (Which is out of character.) Dr. Nichols stays behind and looks at the security footage from April 12th, and she is syringed in the neck.

Katliyn calls Detective Elliot and tells him she is sure that Dr. Jacob is killing women who look like his ex-wife. She rushes home and pulls a knife on him. He tells her that he is innocent. He would never hurt anyone, and he is being framed. She has Detective Elliot arrest him.
Katliyn thinks the worst is behind her, but she gets a frantic call from Lori, who needs help. Katliyn rushes to the office and finds Dr. Nichols dead. Lori is in the OR with Brad, and it seems like he has kidnapped her. Until Lori slits his throat, she is pissed she isnt a doctor. Lori was framing Dr. Jacob all along.
Six months later, Dr. Jacob and Katliyn live together and you think this is the happy ending. She finds an enhancement ring under the bed. It causes her to rethink things, and she realizes Dr. Jscob killed his wife and Dr. Nichols to cover it up. Brad was right the whole time!!!
STRAY Thoughts
Tubi Accusation, you can tell by the many bleeped-out words.
I didn’t hate this and Samantha Neyland Trumbo is a good actress.

This one was, meh. Not as exciting and juicy as I thought it would be. But it was nice to see Helena Mattson again after her almost 5 year absence from the channel. And extra points for the high body count, which Lifetime rarely seems to do nowadays.

Wait, so Lori and Jacob were both the killer??
Dr Jacob killed his wife and Dr. Nichols while Lori killed everyone else
Did not like. Too much gore without the usual Lifetime charm.
