Synopsis (via Lifetime)
Bebe plays Lincoln, retired musician turned record store owner, and proud father to the three King sisters, Lydia (Lisa Berry), Gracie (Faith Wright) and Abigail (Bethany Brown). For the first time since their mother’s death, the three estranged King sisters return home for the holidays. Lincoln hatches a plan with family friend, Genelle (Deborah Joy Winans) to bring his girls back together again this Christmas. Living under the same roof and hearing their father sing joyful Christmas melodies sparks old family memories. Holiday love songs and mistletoe are found around every corner, and the sisters end up finding love in the very town they tried so hard to leave behind. It isn’t long before the sisters face the facts; life’s better when they are together.

Recap/Wine Thoughts
The movie starts at the King house on Christmas day. Three daughters, Abigail, Lydia, and Gracie, come downstairs. Their father is playing the piano and singing “We Three Kings.” He changes the lyrics to be about his girls. (Very cute) He is a famous musician. The parents, Lincoln and his wife, give their kids a memorable Christmas.
In the present day, the sisters are struggling with the loss of their mother. Abigail is a concert pianist and is messing up in rehearsal. Dr. Gracie King blows off her hunk doctor boyfriend for a night alone. Meanwhile, Lydia is pregnant and hiding it from her husband, Mike. (Jaime M. Callica, who has come a long way as an actor. I’m happy to see him in TV movies now.) The sisters are no longer close, and Lincoln’s heart is broken. He runs a record store.
Lincoln is closing his shop and slips on some ice; he ends up in the hospital. The man who found him, Jacob, stays with him in the hospital until the sisters get there. Dr. Gracie King is defensive of her father and yells at Jacob, threatening to sue him, but their family isn’t litigious. (She is convinced he hit her father with his car when he was lying in the street.) Lincoln has a lady friend visit, Ganell. She listens to his concerns about his daughters and how far apart they have become.
The sisters go to Lincoln’s house and see the tree decorated with childhood ornaments. It is the first time they have been together since their mother died.
Lincoln is released from the hospital, and the sisters care for their father while avoiding one another. There is a missing necklace that belonged to their mother, and they fight over who stole them. Jacob brings some coffee and pastries; he seems like a good guy, but Dr. Gracie King is super RUDE to him.
Abigail takes over the responsibilities at the record store and finds a love for music differently. Sean, a fan of her father’s and a music lover, helps out around the store as a volunteer. He puts on music after the store closes, and they dance around laughing. Then things get hot and heavy, and they make out. The next day, Sean asks her about being in the Chicago Symphony. It is so cutthroat, and Abigail worries she will be fired.
Lydia and Mike are having a hard time keeping their relationship together. Mike gives Lydia a heartfelt monologue about living together but being completely alone. He doesn’t want to keep up appearances on social media or in person.
Lincoln tries to get the girls to do a tradition of a scavenger hunt. It explodes into a huge sister argument. The men listen on, and it is awkward. Jacob actually leaves because he learns Dr. Gracie King has a doctor boyfriend.
Abigail continues to do the scavenger hunt on her own. She recruits Dr. Gracie King to help, and they make up. They go to Lydia and apologize. The sisters have a teary-eyed reconciliation. (LIKE REAL TEARS, GUYS!) Then, tension is broken by presenting some facts about Frankensences. The sisters come together to help Lydia put together shipments for the holidays. (She owns a candle business!) Then they drink wine and look at the leftover clues.
The movie fittingly ends with a concert. BeBe Winans and Deborah Joy Winans sing “My Christmas Prayer.” Abigail accompanies them. It is a rare Christmas Movie singing moment that is worthy of a concert. She comes clean about quitting or maybe getting fired from the Chicago Symphony. Abigail has found her love of music and love of Sean.
Well, Damn. Lincoln had the necklace all along and made it into three. He planned on giving it to them when they all came home for the holidays. (He probs should have told them and avoided all this drama.)
Side Note/Stray Thoughts
Lil. Romeo is all grown up! Good for him. He was great in this.
