Synopsis (via Lifetime)
A romantic drama exploring how friendship, passion, and forgiveness collide. The story follows two best friends, Debra, a Type A doctor, and Shelby, a free-spirited rule breaker, as their lives intertwine with those of Leonard and Tyrese.
Recap/Wine Thoughts

Shelby is a flight attendant who travels a lot for work. Obviously, she is dating a fine, but broke man. Shelby comes home to find him playing video games with other women. (Not a euphemism.

Debra, an OBGYN, is performing a check-up on a patient and her baby when she is surprised to see that the father is Chase. HER EX FIANCE!?!?! Debra kicks him out and tells him and his new baby mama to find a new doctor.

Leonard is a stand-up, and he is insanely hot. His routine is about dating in LA, and he gets heckled by his ex-girlfriend.

Tyrel is also unlucky in love.
Debra and Shelby are friends looking for love in LA. So are Leonard and Tyrel. Debra tries to meet with a matchmaker, who turns out to be racist. They all navigate being single in the city.

At a car wash, Debra and Leonard have a meet-cute when she can’t tap to pay with her phone and he covers the cost. Leonard invites her to his comedy show. He isn’t going to meet her 300K-a-year dating requirement, but he does meet her height requirements.

At the show, Shelby and Tyrel meet outside the men’s bathroom, where she goes in before Tyrel, and they debate whether or not it is rude. Then they learn that Debra and Leonard are the reason they are at the show, and make amends. They start over and go to the club together. They spend the whole night together and talk about REAL things.

Debra realizes that he dating requirements were perhaps a little shallow, and even when the racist matchmaker finds what Debra says she is looking for, Debra skips it for a chance to make out with Leonard. (I would do the SAME thing, he is so fine.)
The couples still get to know one another. Shelby tells Tyrel that she isn’t dating men because the next man she dates will be her husband. Debra tells Leonard that she wants to be a mom; she sees pregnant women every day at work.

Debra ends up going on that date with the wealthy match, Richard. He is cocky, and Debra is not into him at all. They make small talk. Debra goes to the bathroom and is confused why she can’t stop thinking about Leonard. She ditches Richard!!! Damn, that is cold.

Meanwhile, Shelby and Tyrel fail at not dating. They get a couple’s massage that turns into a sexy time. Shelby is disappointed in herself for giving away her cookies for free. Tyrel is confused because he is having a good time with her. They get into an argument and have this whole love-hate thing going on.
Debra sees Leonard on a date with another woman and feels foolish. It is a misunderstanding, of course. Leonard doesn’t think twice about it and keeps calling Debra. He wants to tell her the good news: he got the lead in a sitcom. He invites her over for a celebration dinner, and they clear the air through open, honest communication. (She tells him she wants to wait until marriage to have sex.)

Tyrel and Shelby make up as well. Not sure WHY we need two parts to this movie. Things seem to be going fine.
There is a random cliffhanger with the police, so I guess we will see!
STRAY Thoughts
Based on the book Friends and Lovers by Eric Jerome Dickey from 2000??!?!
This movie was somewhere between a Lifetime Movie and a Hallmark movie in tone.
