Synopsis (via Hallmark Channel)

Three siblings deal with personal changes and their mother’s decision to sell the family home before Christmas. Between in-laws, wild animals, and a mall Santa, they try to make the holidays perfect.

Recap/Wine Thoughts

The boys are back!! But is the third time a charm?

A man stands in front of a mirror, looking surprised. He has short hair and is wearing a gray and black shirt. The bathroom has a modern design with a large window and various toiletries on the counter.

Andrew Walker is back in the mirror, practicing his breathing—or maybe Lamaze breathing. His wife is pregnant with twins. His son now has a bowl cut and is wreaking havoc because he feels neglected. The Lamaze teacher tries to scare them because twins are nothing like raising one kid. Andrew Walker is comedically freaked out. He is great.

A couple looks up in surprise while standing in a cozy living room, with a stone fireplace and a round coffee table in the foreground.

Paul Campbell? I think that his name. He is still the neurotic brother planning a wedding with his mismatched wife. (She is too good for him.) They have been planning the wedding for six months, and he doesn’t want to make the wrong decision. They also have a roof leak or something, and move in with his mother.

A man wearing a red plaid shirt is engaging in a conversation with a woman in a warm, cozy setting.

Tyler Hynes takes a meeting in the city and has the opportunity to run a business— maybe an arcade or something. A big tech guru wants Tyler to move full-time, but he has a girlfriend back home. Fiona (played by KWEEN Ali Liebert), an ex, referred Tyler Hynes. That could be a problem. When Tyler Hynes tells his girlfriend, she is surprisingly on board. It throws him off. Does he not want to move, or does he not want to move with her?

A man with gray hair and a beard speaks animatedly while wearing a brown jacket, against a backdrop of boxes and a window.

The brothers learn that their mother will be selling the house to downsize. Paul Campbell’s fiancée, Suzy’s father, played by Lochlyn Munro with gray spray-painted hair, shows up for the holiday with his bird. It is this movie’s attempt to meet the fauckers’ father/son-in-law dynamic. It’s a tired trope, and then Paul Campbell lets the bird out of the cage, and it escapes through a window.

The kid feels forgotten, which is strange because it is supposed to be the best Christmas ever! There is a FLOUR FIGHT!

Three characters dressed in humorous festive costumes surrounded by large wrapped gifts and colorful decorations, with a child in the foreground looking at them.

Medieval Christmas happens, and that is gonna be too nerdy for me, but pop off, brothers.

A rodent gets into the house, causing a freak-out. Then Fiona shows up, and Tyler Hynes faints. Lochlyn Munro gets bitten by a guinea pig, and they end up in the hospital where Kimberly Sustad works. It is in the ER where the truth comes out about Tyler’s ex recommending him for the job.

The brothers trim the tree with their mother, and it is bittersweet because it is the last time in their family home.

Andrew Walker forgets his wedding anniversary, and we know the real man would NEVER! The brothers give each other a pep talk and plan to fix his marriage, plan Paul Campbell’s wedding, and Tyler Hynes has something with a Mall Santa.

They don the Christmas suits on the poster of the movie and go berserk over an in-demand toy that is reminiscent of Jingle All the Way, down to the slow-motion ball pit frenzy.

The brothers end up in jail. They quickly get bailed out for Christmas dinner. It is over the dinner table that the boy’s mother tells off Suzy’s dad. The confrontation sends Andrew Walker’s wife into labor, and they all head back to the hospital.

The babies are born and quickly brought to the hospital chapel (has anyone seen these IRL?) for an impromptu wedding. All the brothers have romantic moments with their partners, kind of stealing Paul Campbell’s thunder, but it is fine. Andrew Walker gets his wife a beautiful ring, Tyler Hynes moves to San Francisco with his girlfriend, and Paul Campbell is getting married. Oh, and the kid gets his toy, it is THE BEST. CHRISTMAS. EVER.

Side Note/Stray Thoughts

I’m so glad this is the last one of these. I’m ready to move on from these brothers. I don’t relate to any of them, even if two of them are hot.
