Synopsis (via Lifetime)

A divorcee is surprised to learn her ex-husband has suddenly remarried a much younger woman and even more surprised to discover her dark and treacherous past.

Thoughts

Mitch and Tiffany are married, much to the surprise of his ex-wife Jackie. Jackie is concerned about how her daughter will handle the news; Brooke is fine with it. She thinks of Tiffany as a fun sister. (Because they are almost the same age.)

Jackie is not thrilled about Tiffany interfering with raising her daughter. Jackie makes a scene and storms out, sending Tiffany into an angry flower chopping frenzy. The two women attempt to come to an understanding. Jackie tells Tiffany to “Respect her authority.” (Which no one can say, and I will not think of Cartman from South Park.)

Tiffany doesn’t respect Jackie’s boundaries and picks Brooke up from school. She plays a matchmaker with a blonde jock boy from school, causing Brooke to miss dinner with her mother. Jackie scolds her daughter, further pushing her away. Tiffany gifts Brooke a car for her birthday, which sends Jackie over the edge embarrassing her in front of her friends and, more importantly, jock boy.

Mitch decides to let Renata, the housekeeper, go when Tiffiany accuses her of stealing. Tiffany steals Mitch’s phone and agrees to a meeting with Jackie while pretending to be Mitch. The set up turns into a bottle of wine while waiting for Mitch to come home. Jackie opens up about a drinking and driving accident. Tiffany uses it against Jackie and drugs her wine to make it look like she has a drinking problem. Mitch freaks out on Jackie and is concerned about her parenting.

Next, Tiffany turns Brooke against her mother, stating that Jackie doesn’t want Brooke to live with her anymore. They drive around town in her fancy car. Tiffany encourages Brooke to take space from her mother.

Jackie decides to look into Tiffany’s background online, which Brooks friend snoops through Tiffany’s personal things finding a passport for Mary Smith and a bunch of other aliases. Tiffany catches her and kills the friend and stages it as an accidental drowning.

Brooke realizes that Tiffany is manipulating her and screams at her that she is not her parent. Brooke wants to talk with her mother but is having trouble getting ahold of her. Jackie is out getting information from ex-lovers of Tiffany.

Tiffany kills one of the guys she used to be married to when he tries to find her. Then she strangles Brooke, but she manages to get away and run away for a while until Jackie shows up with a tire iron and knocks Tiffany out. Jackie sends Brooke to call the police and goes back inside to save her ex-husband from his terrible new wife.

Mitch wakes up but is stabbed immediately. Tiffany and Jackie struggle over the knife. Jackie takes Tiffany out again with the tire iron, but she manages to get away before being apprehended by the police.

Three months later, Jackie makes pancakes for Brooke and the jock boy. She invites Mitch in for breakfast for dinner; they are a happy family again. Dinner is interrupted by Tiffany, who is now a red head terrorizing a new family.
