Synopsis (via Lifetime)

After her twin sister dies under suspicious circumstances, a seductive woman lures the attending nurse into a dangerous web of passion and manipulation—intent on uncovering the truth and exacting a dark revenge. Jackie Moore, Eric Roberts star. (2025)

Recap/Wine Thoughts

Tanya is short on cash and has to resort to MODELING to pay the bills. The photographer appears to be more interested in a casting couch setup and makes Tanya uncomfortable from the start. She hits the photographer when he gets out of line.

Cut to a cuddling couple, Brittney and James. Brittney makes coffee before heading to work at the hospital as a nurse. The head doctor, Eric Roberts, thinks Brittney is the best and wants to hang out with her husband ASAP.

James is busy lifting weights with his bros and invites Ben to dinner with his new girlfriend. Ben doesn’t really date, so Brittney and James are excited to meet his new girlfriend, who turns out to be Tanya. Tanya and Ben are a mismatch but into PDA. She actually seems more interested in Brittney. Tanya is quick to text Brittney and plan a game night, but things are moving too quickly for Brittney, and she feels uneasy about the new friendship.

Tanya tells Brittney that she is a photographer and would love to take her picture sometime, since she is so photogenic. Again, Tanya seems more into Brittney than Ben. You know who is NOT into Brittney, James. He passes on sex with her TWICE.

Ben is rude to Tanya, and she takes it out on him in the bedroom, slapping him around and drugging his wine. Then she strangles him and tells Ben that he is a “silly rabbit.”

Brittney tells everyone that the thrill is gone in her relationship, and Tanya takes advantage of Brittney in a vulnerable moment. Brittney tells Tanya her deepest, darkest secrets and then takes some sexy poliroid pictures. They almost kiss, but Brittney rushes off, leaving Tanya to have a full-on meltdown. (Talking to herself in the mirror, showing up at the hospital uninvited, and thinking that James is in the way of their true love). Brittney starts to put space between herself and Tanya.

The Polaroids are mailed to James, and he gets upset that Brittney would cheat on him with another woman. Brittney tries to explain. The photos are also posted online, putting Brit’s job in question.

When James confronts Tanya about the photographs and tries to seduce his wife, Tanya doesn’t take it well. She knocks him out with a bookend and hits her head on the sink to make it look like self-defense, claiming James hit her. James ends up in a medically induced coma and is arrested for assault.

A blasé detective questions Brittney and wants to know what is up with Tanya. Brittney tells the detective how a girl’s night got out of hand, and some racy photos were taken. The detective has no sympathy for Brittney and, in fact, tells her not to leave town, as if she were a suspect! (Oh, what, I do not know.)

It is time for some online research, and Brittney looks at Tanya’s social media accounts and the company she works for. Then Brittney breaks into Tanya’s apartment to see what else she can dig up. She finds more photos and items that belong to her and James. The most incriminating item might be a gun and Ben’s cellphone, but who has a screensaver of their own face? That is truly psychotic behavior.

Brittney tells the detective everything she has discovered and informs her that Tanya is obsessed with her. The detective couldn’t care less.

Tanya is released from the hospital, and Brittney is suspended without pay. Brittney commiserates with her friend/co-worker Sheila. Shelia agrees that Tanya is a weirdo and offers some theories. Before she can work those out, Sheila gets into the WRONG Uber. Tanya picks up Sheila and ensures she never helps anyone again.

Tanya calls Brittney to check on her and plan another girls’ night. Brittney instead cries by James ‘ bedside and begs him to come back to her. Since she is in the hospital, Brittney looks through Tanya’s file and sees that she is a twin seeking revenge. (But is she still a lesbian?)

Tanya takes out the detective and Eric Roberts, and he really didn’t deserve that. Also, people should stop leaving heavy objects on their desks.

Brittney is home alone with a kitchen knife and a glass of wine. Tanya shows up and talks to a picture of her twin sister, Terri, on her phone. Tanya blames Brittney because she was the nurse on duty when Terri came in with a blood clot. This has all been an act of revenge to avenge her twin sister.

Tanya and Brittney fight it out, but eventually Brittney calls 911 for help. James comes home with a head wrap that resembles a sweatband. James wants to order a pizza and is happy being a boring couple. Brittney is fine with that life, and Tanya is sent to jail for a long time.

STRAY Thoughts

Lesbian thriller?!?! I’m shocked it took Lifetime so long, TBH. We love to see gay characters, even psycho ones.
