Synopsis (via Lifetime)

When Gina Wright finds out that both of her parents were killed and that wealthy contractor Parker Randall is to blame, she vows to get even. Securing a job as a nanny to Parker’s troubled stepson, Gina moves into Randall’s house with plans to make him confess his part in the crime but soon realizes that the ruthless Randall has very dark plans of his own.

Thoughts

Divorcee’ Gina is a woman with principles. She quits her job when a principal doesn’t back up his teachers. Specifically, a hunk teacher named Todd who gives a student a ride home, and he is fired after it is ruled inappropriate. Todd calls Gina to thank her for being the only one who stuck up for him and asks her out on a date.

Gina’s father is a contractor and falls off the building after being electrocuted. The investor, Parker Randall, is less interested in the men injured and more about the bottom line. His facilities are not up to code and use cheap materials. Gina and her mother get into a car accident and doesn’t wear a seat belt. Both her parents die on the same day. Wow.

In the hospital, Gina wakes up, and her ex-husband and BFF Vanessa break the bad news to Gina. The other man in the construction accident survives and hires a lawyer. Meanwhile, Gina decides to get her revenge by convincing Parker’s wife Brynn to hire her as a nanny/tutor. Her disguise is taking out her nose ring.

The kid is incredible. When he meets Gina, he tells her to “Go to hell.” (Haha) Gina winds him over by bonding over his lame art projects. Gina also bonds with Brynn, who shares that she suspects her husband is cheating with his secretary. Gina moves in with the family to put her plan into motion.

The other guy from the accident is in a brace and arm sling. Parker sends his hitmen to kill him before he becomes more trouble with his lawsuits.

Parker is not only a scumbag in every aspect of his life; he also wears shirts with lots of buttons unbuttoned. Then he hits on Gina blatantly tries to seduce him, but he doesn’t fall for it. When his wife is away, then he makes his moves. Gina arranges for Parker to meet her at a secluded cabin in the woods where she will tie him u and force a confession.

Mark and Vanessa think that Gina is in a cabin. They have suspicious about her whereabouts and head up to the cabin, but Gina is not there because she is at dinner with Parker.

The secretary that Parker is sleeping with calls his wife and tells him that he is at dinner with another other woman. Brynn rushes to find her husband.

Gina takes Mark to the cabin to enact her revenge. She starts a tape recorder, makes out with him a bit, and goes to pull the pun on him; only Parker is one step ahead of her. He pulls the gun on her and has been aware of who she was the whole time. He attempts to rape her but is stopped by his wife. Brynn shoots her husband and says that Parker had it coming. Then she plans to blame Gina for the murder; Gina is tape-recording the whole conversation. So that won’t work out well.

Brynn chases Gina around the house with the gun and is stopped with a baseball bat. Mark and Vanessa are back and all the police. The police bust in and arrest Brynn.

Gina ends up engaged to Todd from the beginning of the movie, because, why not. The end!
