Synopsis (via Lifetime)

Friends start a babysitting business to save up for college, but when the babysitting money just isn’t cutting it, they start a prostitution business as well.

Thoughts

The movie begins with high school seniors doing a photoshoot on a playground. Ashley runs late for calls and rushes in to present on her babysitter app. The workforce includes 11 baby sitters, including her BFF’s Janet, Rachel, and Gil. The babysitter service seems more like a hooker service. Well, that is because it is. The friends, who all look the same, need the money and decided to start a prostitution ring to make $$$. (Specifically, Ashley, who is going to have to go to COMMUNItY COLLEGE! Her parents are using her college fund.)

Mark and Linda are legitimate babysitter clients for Ashley. They seem to care about her and offer to help. Well, Mark offers to help invest in her future and kisses her. Ashley laughs it off because she is extremely uncomfortable. She is in high school; what is this dude doing? I was hoping he wouldn’t cross that line. He takes her on a solo trip in Philly to check out a college, eat Philly cheesesteak, and go see a concert and makeout. He takes her back to his hotel room, and they have sex. Ashley regrets her decision that Mark manipulated her into.

Ashley continues to help out the family and talks to Linda about her family and marriage. Linda says they would be lost without her. Ashley watches Mark play with his kids in the pool, and she envisions herself being married to him.

The deranged babysitters club has a meeting and talks about the dads they are sleeping with for money or gifts. Like, these men send their high school girls flowers at their homes? What the hell.

Mark becomes possessive of Ashley, and she reminds him that she is seventeen and he is married. Ashley tries to put space between Mark and tells him she is done with him. He won’t let her go. Neither will the other men who are sleeping with teenagers. The teenagers have a pool party with the much older dads, and it is creepy. This movie is gross. One of the girls gets pregnant and has an abortion.

Walter, another dad, wants to take sexy pictures of Ashley with another woman, practically making a porno. She freaks out and wants out of the sex ring. A rival named Harper finds out about what is going on and threatens to expose the story. Then she does, in the school paper.

The police and a lady detective look into the reports. Linda realizes that her husband and Ashley could be involved and asks her husband, point-blank. He admits to it, and she kicks him out of the house.

Ashley’s parents demand to know what is going on, and Ashley tells the truth about what has been happening. Her parents slut-shame their daughter instead of the men who manipulated her into doing these things. So do the principal of the school and detectives. What the hell is going on with this movie?!?!

Rachel is arrested. The other girls get four years of probation and face the consequences of their actions. The men are registered sex offenders. Ashley doesn’t get into the college of her dreams and goes to community college while working as a barista. The end!
