Synopsis (via Lifetime)

Sonia Paston accepts a huge job promotion. Taking this promotion means she must leave her home in New York City and move to a small town near Boston. However, someone in her life is not ready to live without her.

Thoughts

Sonia has a terrible nightmare/Flashback of a man attacking her in the might. She wakes up and realizes that she is safe in bed with her boyfriend, Tom. He wants her to stop pushing him away from her and spend time with him. Sonia is more focused on her career than men. She receives a promotion and jet sets around the country. Sonia breaks up with Tom for the job opportunity, which will have her moving to a new city. Tom doesn’t take it well and becomes possessive and obsessive. (Not a good combo!) As she is packing up her stuff, she finds pictures taken with a telephoto lens on his computer.

In her new city, Sonia starts her job and meets a man named Sebastian Craig. He flirts with her and helps her pick out furniture or art? It doesn’t matter, really. When he drops off the painting, he is surprised to see the police at Sonia’s house. She is convinced someone is following her and in her home. They don’t talk about it and get up a date at an art gallery opening.

Sonia starts receiving flowers at work and is successful in her job and her new relationship. They have sex and aren’t aware that Tom is following them and calling in Sebastian’s plates. (I guess Tom is a cop.) Tom makes Sebastian appear like a stalker, and Sonia breaks up with him. Then he swoops in to “save her” and be a shoulder to cry on. When he tries to kiss her, Sonia tells him that she doesn’t have feelings for him.

Tom goes to his car and punches the steering wheel in anger. Then he breaks into Sebastian’s car and steals some items. He makes an appointment with Sonia’s therapist and talks about moving forward with his life. After admitting to everything, he kills her and frames Sebastian.

Sonia visits Sebastian in jail and calls him a “sick man.” She plans to attend the funeral of her therapist, who she is too close to. On her way, Tom pulls her over and forces her and her friend to get into his car. He takes them to a warehouse and holds them at gunpoint.

Sebastian is released from police custody and rushes to save Sonia. He finds her and is immediately shot. Sonia runs around the warehouse and hides behind boxes. She eventually tazes him and runs away. The police take Tom away. Sebastian survives, and Sonia thanks him for saving her life? What did he do? This movie is lame.
