Synopsis (via Lifetime)
When Zoe wakes up to find her husband murdered beside her in bed with no memory of anyone entering their home, she becomes the prime suspect. To clear her name, she must uncover the real killer and stop them before they finish what they started.
Recap/Wine Thoughts

Sarah Drew, playing Ali here, almost gets into an accident with a Texas guy named Shawn on their way to a search and rescue mission. Sarah Drew works the K9 unit and finds a girl named Jessica on a mountain. (Not Baby Jessica.) Shawn helps rescue the hikers, and the sexual chemistry between the new co-worker is palpable despite her efforts to give him the cold shoulder. Sarah Drew has been raising teens alone since her husband passed away.
Even though she has a supportive family unit (Her parents live on her farm; her dad has cancer), around the anniversary of her dead husband’s birthday, Sarah Drew feels like something is missing.

At a chance meeting at a diner, Sarah Drew runs into Shawn and opens up about her husband’s death in a high-speed car chase while working as a police chief. Sarah Drew has a hard-and-fast rule: she doesn’t date anyone at work or anyone with a dangerous job. So look out, all you accountants.

Shawn calls into a radio show hosted by real-life couple Clint Black and Lisa Hartman. Shawn has some unresolved wounds from past relationships. They advise him to just ask Sarah Drew out. Which is crazy. You had to call a radio show for that?!!?

Cute dating montage!!! Sarah Drew and Shawn start going steady! They kiss and agree to take things slow. Just when things are looking up, Sarah Drew’s dad falls and ends up in the hospital. She second-guesses the relationship and ends things as soon as they started, leaving Shawn with the same insecurities from his past relationship. He goes back to talk with his ex for closure. She literally says, “Have a good life.” HARSH!
With all that out of the way, Shawn is ready to focus on his future with Sarah Drew, and they have a sexy time in his apartment. It is time for Sarah Drew to invite Shawn to her family. It doesn’t go according to plan when her dad chokes at dinner, but Shawn saves the day and immediately wins the family over!

Back to the MORE INTERESTING storyline, the missing hikers in the woods. This time, it is a girl lost in a cave. Shawn gets stuck trying to save her, and Sarah Drew is worried and decides to end the relationship because it is too dangerous. He rescues the girl and is fine, but since he can’t promise he won’t die on the job, Sarah Drew tries to break up with him. Shawn says he will quit the job and proposes to her.
Shawn calls the radio show again to give an update. Clint Black and Lisa Harman will probably show up at the wedding.

It is the day of the wedding, and they plan a big barn wedding, which seems in poor taste for a second marriage. (But who am I to judge!) Sarah Drew’s parents walk her down the aisle, and she looks beautiful. Everyone shares meaningful glances. Clint and Lisa don’t show up, but they request the first dance to their song “When I Said I Do.” (Which is kind of self-important.)
The song plays as wedding things happen and goes into consummating the marriage, which is probably why this didn’t air on Hallmark. This could have been the end of the movie, but it isn’t.

For some reason, Sarah Drew gets to keep her dangerous job with K9 Grover. A tornado hits a warehouse in the Chesapeake Bay, and Sarah Drew is given the all-clear to search for survivors but falls into a hole. Shawn rushes to her rescue, as do her parents. Actually, her whole family shows up.
Sarah Drew is, of course, fine. She lives a happy life with Shawn for her second chance at true love. Good for them!
STRAY Thought
Clint Black and Lisa Hartman have a popular radio show IRL, I guess!
This movie was based on a song with the same title.
